Thierry Bardini

Thierry Bardini, a sociologist, is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the Université de Montréal, Canada, where he co-directs the Workshop in Radical Empiricism (with Brian Massumi). In 2000, he published Bootstrapping: Douglas Engelbart, Coevolution, and the Origins of Personal Computing, at Stanford University Press. His second book, titled Junkware: From DNA to Cyberculture is forthcoming in the Posthumanities book series edited by Cary Wolfe at the University of Minnesota Press.
